What is Reading Camp about?
  • READING CAMP is FREE for students finishing grades K – 4th needing summer help with reading.

  • READING CAMP provides a comfortable, stress-free, failure-free setting for learning.

  • READING CAMP builds both reading skills and self-confidence! 

  • READING CAMP fosters the development of a lifelong love of reading.

What will I do at Reading Camp?
  • Campers work in small groups with teachers on Pleasure Reading, Reading Comprehension, Phonics, Sight Words, Reading Fluency

  • Campers play fun word/reading games in the gym and/outside.

  • Campers have an art/craft session or a music session around reading.

  • Campers hear the story of the day read by one of our adult guest readers while enjoying a snack.

  • Campers select a book to take home at the end of the week.
